Advanced Chinese class offered by Kentuckiana Chinese School (KCS)

To help those students who are targeting top colleges and universities and want to take SAT Chinese tests, the Kentuckiana Chinese School is offering a new class beginning Fall 2009 semester – the Advanced Chinese class.

This class will use non-traditional teaching methods, including theme-based dialogue practice, listening comprehension, proper grammar usage and day-to-day custom, plus review of Chinese characters, words and phrases students have learned in the past. The students will expect to have SAT-style practices during the course. The teacher for this class has rich experience in tutoring students for SAT Chinese in the past several years.

Qualified students for this class should either have completed 5th grade or above in Chinese, or be able to demonstrate the equivalent level of Chinese language skill.

The class will be at the same time and location with the rest of the Chinese school classes.

First class will be Sunday 8/16/2009 at 3 PM. Registration begins at 2 PM. Tuition is $180 including teaching materials.
